What To Expect
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We engage in corporate worship that is led by our worship team. You will have the opportunity to receive prayer from a member of our prayer team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
Plan Your Visit
If this is your first time to check out Watts Bar Community Church, we would love to have you as our guest! We do church a little differently, so here are some FAQ’s to help you plan your visit!
What should I wear?
Casual dress is the norm. But, some people enjoy wearing business attire. Watts Bar Community Church is a “come as you are” kind of place.
Will I be singled out as a guest?
Absolutely not. If you feel comfortable, you can fill out the Connection Card in the seat back in front of you, but if you want to remain anonymous, that’s cool.
What about my kids?
At Watts Bar Community Church we value kids. That’s why we have a creative, age-appropriate ministry that includes music, activities and a lesson from the Bible. wbkids isn’t about INFORMATION, it’s about TRANSFORMATION. We want to see children come to know Jesus and grow in their relationship with God.
Should I bring a Bible?
If you’ve got a Bible, bring it! We encourage people to bring a Bible and a pen so we can dig in to studying God’s Word. But if you don’t have a Bible, that’s okay. We’ll give you one absolutely free.
What style of music should I expect during a worship experience?
We believe music is just one of the art forms God has placed within the church. There once was a time when church was THE PLACE to go and see the arts expressed in a way that glorified God and inspired people. It’s our intention to see that happen again. Our band is live and plays a loud mix of worship music with a “rock” or modern flavor.
What does a typical worship experience look like?
Great question. We frequently ask the same question. The reality is every worship experience is unique. But if you had to pin us down, a typical worship experience would include high energy, live music with a great band, a life-related, down to earth message from the Bible, and an opportunity to pray about anything going on in your life.
